Guy spent decades building in New York City. Commercial construction, where schedules are unforgiving, inspectors don't negotiate, and the building either passes or it doesn't.

American Copper Buildings. Walker Tower. Stella Tower. He worked the interiors.

In 2020 he started Essential Builders in Elmsford with his sons Joseph and Steven. Father and sons on the same jobs, taking on commercial build-outs and residential work across New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Florida with the same rigor either way.

Then clients started asking who could clean up after the work was done. Now the family does: Essential Cleaners, run by Angela, Guy's wife, out of the same Elmsford shop. When a builder cleans up after builders, the standard is different.

Between them, the family carries 65+ years of construction experience. The company is young; the hands are not.
